Full Journal pdf2000-04-11 Senate Journal Page 2973 HB 225 Message dated April 10 was read, stating the House failed to concur in the Senate amendments to CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 225(JUD) and respectfully requests the Senate to recede from its amendments, namely: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 225(JUD) am S An Act relating to election campaigns and legislative ethics; and providing for an effective date. In the event the Senate fails to recede, the Speaker has appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the Senate to consider the bills: Representative Green, Chair Representative Harris Representative Croft Senator Mackie moved that the Senate recede from its amendments and recommended the body vote no. The question being: "Shall the Senate recede from its amendments?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCS CSHB 225(JUD) am S Shall the Senate recede from its amendments to CSHB 225(JUD)? YEAS: 0 NAYS: 18 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 2 Nays: Adams, Donley, Ellis, Elton, Green, Halford, Hoffman, Kelly Tim, Leman, Lincoln, Mackie, Miller, Parnell, Pearce, Phillips, Taylor, Ward, Wilken Absent: Kelly Pete, Torgerson and so, the Senate failed to recede. 2000-04-11 Senate Journal Page 2974 HB 225 The President appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the House: Senator Donley, Chair Senator Miller Senator Hoffman The Secretary was requested to notify the House.
